The Future

We all have different Home Plans. Some want their house to be grand—like a mansion of some sort. Some want their house to simply have a huge garden or a backyard. Some want their house to have a rooftop while some just want a simple house to live on. In my opinion, having House Plans are useful. Not only can you use it in the future when you plan to build a house for your family, but you can also share your opinions with someone else and be influenced by the good qualities that another person’s house plan possesses. At least you have something nice to talk about, right?

Take Log home plans for example. Not only are they very interesting to look at, they’re very handy and widely used not only in cold places like skii areas but also as cabins and many more! Did you know that they’ve been used for centuries in Scandinavia, Russia and Eastern Europe?

My only advice is not to always go for expensive, luxurious house designs, just go for the practical ones—the ones that contain or possess what you really need. Not all expensive things are worth the money you are paying. Money can’t buy everything, that’s for sure. Try being original, though add a little touch of your personality to the house you plan to make.

who doesn’t want a Maui vacation house?

It’s amazing what a combination of Google Maps, Search Engine, and bright minds can come up with nowadays – amazing tools like Hawaii real estate search engine.

Yep, you can search for Kauai, Molokai, Oahu, Lanai, Big Island, and Maui real estate using HawaiiLife.com search engine. Oh, in case you don’t know, studies show that 86% of home buyers start their real estate search online. Which is why, tools like this can be very useful.

My office mate was actually the one who showed me this tool. She became interested in buying a vacation house in Maui, Hawaii after she fell in love with Maui when she went there with her family for Christmas vacation.

Well, based from the pictures she flaunted when she came back from their Christmas vacation, it’s a wonder she did not just quit her job and stayed there for good. That’s what I would do. I mean, Maui life… beautiful beaches like the sandy Keawapu beach, the graceful hula dancers wearing flower-printed clothes, masses of sweet and juicy tropical fruits… who can resist it?

To keep my friends options open though, she’s also checking out Molokai real estate and Lanai real estate. I couldn’t blame her … Those places also have great beaches and terrific ambiance.

printers are still necessary in our “paperless society”

One of the advantages of being in the internet business is the savings you get from promoting a “paperless society”. Still, this does not mean that companies should not invest in printers and ink cartridges. After all, there are still other companies you may encounter and be affiliated with who prefer having documents in black and white (printed at that).

If you’re going to invest in printers, I suggest you buy multi-purpose equipment – a printer, scanner, and photocopier in one. After all, every office will need to scan, print, and/or photocopy every now and then. Having multi-purpose equipment like that within the vicinity can save you a lot of time.

foreclosure - man’s loss and gain

Foreclosure - an act or instance of foreclosing; specifically : a legal proceeding that bars or extinguishes a mortgagor’s right of redeeming a mortgaged estate — Merriam-Webster

One man’s loss is another man’s gain. This holds true especially when it comes to real estate.

Home foreclosures can be pretty devastating to a person. Then again, houses in foreclosures are the gold mine for people hunting for houses. This is because searching through bank houses is one of the best ways to find incredible bargains in Real Estate.

As with any other business transactions, make sure to do in depth research when you’re planing to invest in foreclosures. If you do good research, you just might be able to get one at around 30% off and be assured that there are no liens against it. Still, the safest way of purchasing foreclosed houses is to buy bank owned homes (REO) because of the guaranteed clear property titles.

Happy bargaining!

ride the car elevator at charlotte’s NC

I have always associated the name Charlotte with the book Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White. Anyhow, I was surprised that there’s a city named Charlotte in North Carolina (NC) when I encountered an article entitled “Encore Charlotte Condos”. It’s even considered as the largest city in NC.

What surprised me more was the content of the article about Charlotte NC real estate. As if homes in Charlotte NC are not competitive enough, you will actually find something really amazing in luxury condos in North Carolina – a car elevator!

Yep, you can unload your groceries directly to your kitchen minus the hassle of ever leaving your car. In fact, as the article put it, you can “pull into the ground level car elevator and ride up to your private 2 or 4 car garage just outside of your high rise condo in downtown Charlotte…”

If you’re interested in this very efficient luxury condo, do take note that the condo will open doors in late fall 2009 and pre-construction buyers are given the privilege to design their living space to suit their tastes and the option to combine units (vertically or horizontally) at their convenience. So if I were you, I’d inquire a.s.a.p.

Why rent or buy property in Barcelona now?

For those who have been planning to visit Barcelona, now’s a good time to start searching for long term and short term apartments for rent there.

Why bother renting a short term property there now? Because this 2007 to 2008, you will get to see authentic Spanish dancing performed by the stars of Spanish dance such as Akram Khan, Sara Baras, and Nacho Duato. Also, according to one website, “The Palau de la Virreina and Teatre Lliure is now selling the joint dance season ticket known as the Abonament Conjunt de Dansa for the 2007-2008 dance season.” The great thing about this is that, when you purchase this joint dance season ticket, you will be able to avail of a 30% discount and see seven dance shows in all during the dance season. Do hurry because the ticket is available only until January 4, 2008.

But if I were you, I’d go for long term rent or even buy a choice of villas for sale in the city of Barcelona. With the very favorable climate of that city and its seven beaches (which occupy 4.5 kilometers of coastline all in all), you’re sure to have great summers and have fun visiting Barcelona’s 68 municipal parks.
