Total Approach Works

Adrian, my neighbor, is a victim of drug addiction. This sickness is affecting not only his immediate family but the whole clan and his neighborhood as well. His parents had already sought the help of a government institution as regards his Drug Rehab. After six months of his stay at the rehabilitation center, he was released. His family even had the celebration to welcome him back.

Recently, his parents have been looking for other Drug Rehabs to again place Adrian under treatment. They noticed Adrian is back to addiction. In this second attempt to rehabilitate Adrian, his parents are looking for a center that treats a person as a whole. This means the victims are treated at the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual levels, this is the total approach. With this approach, there is a big hope to have a positive result. Parents of Adrian are happy to find out there are now privately managed centers that offers what they are looking for. This total approach method really works as attested by families who had availed of this treatment.

On Gaining and Losing

I have recently been offered to be an SEO / SEM consultant by the third largest outdoor advertising company in my country. This is quite a big break considering that they are willing to have me spear head the project of online advertising and publishing for their company. I encountered this company through Recruitment Advertising, which goes to show that you can catch big fish in the sea – if you know where to look for it.

Anyhow, I’m still in a dilemma on whether I’ll take on that project or not. It is a very challenging and interesting task – one that is sure to keep me rolling in my bed in anticipation. But the thing is, am I ready for it?

Just so you know, that offer cost me to give up on one of my dreams and to put on hold my business partnership with one of my dearest friend. I guess nothing’s really free.

Having a House and a Home of our own

Our house has been constructed since 2002 but was only finished last 2006, just in time for our move out of the military housing with my parents’ retirement.

It is quite big compared to our previous apartments and condos inside the military camps, and it took some time before it sink in that we have a huge spacious house, our very own house. With that thought sinking in, we’ve grown to love our house and are now starting to think of getting our house insured. Precaution is very important, after all.

My parents are still going through some home insurance quotes though and they are planning to settle their decision after 2008, just in time for their pension’s resumption. You see, they took a lump sum off their pension just so we could have our house constructed. Just so you know, I call our home “Gray Castle” because of the no-paint, gray castle like, outside walls with mini solar light torches around the house. Amazing huh? You should try to visit it sometime.

on online casinos

I have always thought that online casino was interesting. There are many casino websites on the internet and I noticed the 32vegas.com online casino. I think it’s pretty neat. It has a great, user-friendly layout for the site and it isn’t over-decorated at all unlike the rest of its competitors.

Its software is really excellent. It’s easy to navigate and it also has various games whose quality is worth a lot of stars! They have card games like Blackjack, Poker Three, Caribbean Poker, Craps and many more. They also have arcade games like Keno and Derby Day. This site is pretty entertaining. You wouldn’t get bored with all those games. 32vegas.com has definitely taken casino games to a higher level.

This vegas casino also offers a $/€/£1,000 bonus to high rollers! That’s a lot of fun! Just like getting a bonus for being great at games or for being unbelievably lucky. If you’re interested in online casinos, you should try this site.

Undeniable Invitation

Uncle Jim after his retirement in the United States Navy settled in Hawaii with his family for good. As we all know, sailors have a special interest in beaches most especially if they had been at sea for several months. No wonder, my uncle had chosen to spend the rest of his life in Hawaii. He bought his rest house at the Kaila Beach through the Kaila Real Estate and built his home through the Kaneohe real estate.

Lately, my family received an invitation to spend our vacation in Hawaii. Uncle assured us that he will do his best to make our stay there, to be a very memorable one. Receiving this type of invitation is difficult to refuse, I have dreamt of seeing this beautiful island since I was little. Not only can I spend this time to bond with my uncle, I can also appreciate the beauty of nature and the little things I do not appreciate to see everyday. Now, it’s really an undeniable invitation.

Hawaiian Wedding Song

The well known king of rock and roll, Elvis Presley, was my father’s idol. No wonder, the Hawaiian Wedding Song that appears on the album Blue Hawaii, is one of his favorites. Elvis recorded the song in1961 for the film Blue Hawaii. Since then, this song became famous among the wedding vocalists.

As such, whenever my parents attend wedding ceremonies, they wish to hear this Hawaiian Wedding Song. For them, the song’s words and music by King – Hoffman – Manning, sooth the hearts and minds not only of those being wed, but likewise the witnesses to the occasion. To top it all, the beautiful seashore of Hawaii is most admired by my father who is a retired naval officer.

It is no surprise therefore that my parents discussed with us their plans to have a place to stay in Hawaii. They asked my help to search the website, where in Hawaii will be best to have a vacation home. Actually, I could sense that whether we recommend Hawaii homes, Oahu real estate or Honolulu real estate, it will be approved by my parents, as long as it is in Hawaii. If this happens, we might have the 50th Wedding Ceremony of my parents in the 50th state with the Hawaiian Wedding Song played during the ceremony.

Importance of Goals and Visualization

It is important for a person to have a goal. It doesn’t matter if your goal is to have your own gmc envoy, own a company, or simply have a decent job. Goals give you a sense of direction and purpose in life.

It helps you get through those “my life is in shambles” and “I’m better off dead” moments that are often times inevitable. I should know; I’ve been there.

Having goals also helps you appreciate life more. It reminds you that no matter how wretched your life may seem right now, you know that it is just a phase and that things will get better. As Rhonda Byrne puts it, “The reason visualization is so powerful is because as you create pictures in your mind of seeing yourself with what it is you want, you are generating thoughts and feelings of having it now. Visualization is simply powerfully focused thought in pictures, and it causes equally powerful feelings.”

company outing plans for the summer

This summer, my colleagues and I are planning to hold our company outing at Beach Palace Cancun, Mexico. This place opened early 2007 and has luxurious rooms with double Jacuzzis! Of course, only the top guns get to avail those rooms.

Still, we are sure to have a great time especially since our package includes water sports activities, one scuba diving demonstration, and use of their new ultra-modern spa. Everyone’s more enthusiastic with the fact that they can finally wear scuba diving gear and beach clothes.

To cap it off, our other colleagues with kids need not worry about taking care of them because their kids will be busy participating in the “Kidz Club” activities such as hand crafts, painting lessons, sand castles, hide and seek, ice cream time, cinema, and a Pinata party. Summer, here we come!

NYC apartment rentals

Kristina, one of my childhood friends, will be going to New York to attend a short course about online entrepreneurship next year. She’s currently on a hunt for nyc apartments for rent since the course will last for six months.

From what I’ve heard, although there are hundreds of nyc apartment rentals, the rate can be quite high considering the location. After all, New York is “the city that never sleeps”. Anyhow, Kristina’s settling in one of the manhattan apartment rentals that is near the building where her short course will take place. Her trip to New York is company sponsored so she was able to get a cozy apartment in a great location.

Hmmmm… I’m considering dropping by and crashing into her apartment while she’s in New York and see for myself how cozy her apartment is.
