on saving precious time for something more productive - like beach party!

Right now, it’s summer in some of the tropical countries like the Philippines! Sun, sand, and party… now that’s a hiatus from work.

Then again, not everyone can afford to just do a country hopping to be able to experience taking a dip on the pristine waters of places like Boracay and Palawan; which is why I thank the heavens for promos like availing of a cheap flight. Still, there’s a dilemma of which cheap flight you should avail to get the most out of your summer vacation. That is, one that will suit your travel need…

This is where websites like Lowfares.com comes in. They help match you with the right travel agency with low fares that can cater to your exact needs. After all, there are a lot of cheap airline tickets out there. Question is, is that what you really need?

It’s like shopping for the cheapest most appropriate flight for your trip in just very simple clicks in one site. So why bother searching manually all the travel agencies for cheap flights that matches your trip when you can easily choose from the best travel agencies? I’d definitely go for the easy search. After all, time is precious. The time you used for searching could easily have been used to party on the beach you’ve been dreaming of.

On Gaining and Losing

I have recently been offered to be an SEO / SEM consultant by the third largest outdoor advertising company in my country. This is quite a big break considering that they are willing to have me spear head the project of online advertising and publishing for their company. I encountered this company through Recruitment Advertising, which goes to show that you can catch big fish in the sea – if you know where to look for it.

Anyhow, I’m still in a dilemma on whether I’ll take on that project or not. It is a very challenging and interesting task – one that is sure to keep me rolling in my bed in anticipation. But the thing is, am I ready for it?

Just so you know, that offer cost me to give up on one of my dreams and to put on hold my business partnership with one of my dearest friend. I guess nothing’s really free.

On Cost Cutting Getting Ghastly

One of the hardest tasks of being a project manager is budgeting and cost cutting. With cost cutting, I mean sorting through each detail like going through Frigidaire Parts and checking out which one is still useful, which one needs repair, which one should be replaced, and which one you can make do without.

Cost cutting would have been easy if it is just involves some office perks and services. But it is pretty ghastly if it involves cutting down salaries, or worse, letting go of people you have grown attached with – and all because you need to cut cost.

My CEO and I have been debating for the past two months on how to effectively run our company without incurring lost, and based from our cost sheet, the bulk of our cost goes to salaries. Which is why if we don’t start earning money soon, I just might need to do some drastic measures. God, help me.

Mom Working at Home

Today, most especially in the urban areas, you will see working mothers. They have to help their husbands earn a living to support the needs of the growing family. More often, they are out of the house and the children are left to the nannies. My friend Lucy is not an exemption, she also helps her husband. However, she is smart enough that she is working at home while mothering her children, through her new found business, that of laser and inkjet printer labels.

Lucy’s neighbors know her special skills in art for she has great ideas. Lately, they discovered that she can design and print labels for souvenirs on wedding, family reunion, graduation, business party or any other special occasion. At times, her customers sit with her to custom design their labels. These designs look great when printed on laser or inkjet printer. With this income-generating talent, Lucy is now ordering in bulk the white, non-smudge stock with permanent adhesive for labels. Ordering in bulk, gives her more earnings. Lucy earns not only money, but as well as the love and respect of her husband, being a mom working at home.

Having a House and a Home of our own

Our house has been constructed since 2002 but was only finished last 2006, just in time for our move out of the military housing with my parents’ retirement.

It is quite big compared to our previous apartments and condos inside the military camps, and it took some time before it sink in that we have a huge spacious house, our very own house. With that thought sinking in, we’ve grown to love our house and are now starting to think of getting our house insured. Precaution is very important, after all.

My parents are still going through some home insurance quotes though and they are planning to settle their decision after 2008, just in time for their pension’s resumption. You see, they took a lump sum off their pension just so we could have our house constructed. Just so you know, I call our home “Gray Castle” because of the no-paint, gray castle like, outside walls with mini solar light torches around the house. Amazing huh? You should try to visit it sometime.

on online casinos

I have always thought that online casino was interesting. There are many casino websites on the internet and I noticed the 32vegas.com online casino. I think it’s pretty neat. It has a great, user-friendly layout for the site and it isn’t over-decorated at all unlike the rest of its competitors.

Its software is really excellent. It’s easy to navigate and it also has various games whose quality is worth a lot of stars! They have card games like Blackjack, Poker Three, Caribbean Poker, Craps and many more. They also have arcade games like Keno and Derby Day. This site is pretty entertaining. You wouldn’t get bored with all those games. 32vegas.com has definitely taken casino games to a higher level.

This vegas casino also offers a $/€/£1,000 bonus to high rollers! That’s a lot of fun! Just like getting a bonus for being great at games or for being unbelievably lucky. If you’re interested in online casinos, you should try this site.

Undeniable Invitation

Uncle Jim after his retirement in the United States Navy settled in Hawaii with his family for good. As we all know, sailors have a special interest in beaches most especially if they had been at sea for several months. No wonder, my uncle had chosen to spend the rest of his life in Hawaii. He bought his rest house at the Kaila Beach through the Kaila Real Estate and built his home through the Kaneohe real estate.

Lately, my family received an invitation to spend our vacation in Hawaii. Uncle assured us that he will do his best to make our stay there, to be a very memorable one. Receiving this type of invitation is difficult to refuse, I have dreamt of seeing this beautiful island since I was little. Not only can I spend this time to bond with my uncle, I can also appreciate the beauty of nature and the little things I do not appreciate to see everyday. Now, it’s really an undeniable invitation.

Moving Made Easy

Mom recalled the many times she had to pack up our things as we have to move to another place. What is good in this was whenever and wherever we transfer, it is an improved location. Mom told us the first time we moved, she was still a little younger and full of energy. Thus, she did not have any difficulty as she packed few items, used few boxes, and loaded them in a small van, as the young children were just observing.

It was totally a different setting when we moved few months ago to our dream house. Mother is now almost sixty years old and has gained weight. As such, she could no longer accomplish what she normally does every time we move. We have more things now to pack, that we need more than a full truck to load them. With this situation, Mom asked my assistance to look for a residential moving company to provide relocation services. We are happy, we discovered the better way of doing it, through the Reliance Relocation’s moving service. Their local movers gave the quote online. We were even advised if we want to save time and money, we the children could do the self-packing, which we did. The quality service rendered by the professional manpower of the company made our moving easy and brought no stress to my Mom.

On Getting a Hassle Free, Immediate Loan

I have been in quite a fix lately – in the financial aspect of my life. I’m currently the breadwinner of my family, until my parents’ pension resumes on 2009. Consequently, there is just one too many bills than I can handle, and some of my sidelines’ delayed payment means a delay in my paying some of the bills as well.

Then I discovered an easy-to-use payday loan service on the web. This is a great short term, faxless loan to cover your spending needs. I would like to emphasize on the word “needs”. Unless you will be spending that loan on need, I suggest you just try to make your ends meet with what you currently have (or do not have for that matter). You could, of course, use that payday loan to buy yourself some luxury or to pamper yourself. Then again, do keep in mind that you’re just burying yourself deeper in debt with that one time “millionaire” experience.

Don’t worry much though since in some countries like the US, government intervention provides help to people from becoming over their head in debt, while still allowing them cash advances if the need arises. Do keep in mind that money is power, but “with great power comes greater responsibility”.

The Future

We all have different Home Plans. Some want their house to be grand—like a mansion of some sort. Some want their house to simply have a huge garden or a backyard. Some want their house to have a rooftop while some just want a simple house to live on. In my opinion, having House Plans are useful. Not only can you use it in the future when you plan to build a house for your family, but you can also share your opinions with someone else and be influenced by the good qualities that another person’s house plan possesses. At least you have something nice to talk about, right?

Take Log home plans for example. Not only are they very interesting to look at, they’re very handy and widely used not only in cold places like skii areas but also as cabins and many more! Did you know that they’ve been used for centuries in Scandinavia, Russia and Eastern Europe?

My only advice is not to always go for expensive, luxurious house designs, just go for the practical ones—the ones that contain or possess what you really need. Not all expensive things are worth the money you are paying. Money can’t buy everything, that’s for sure. Try being original, though add a little touch of your personality to the house you plan to make.
